brookehatfield: steve earle plays an instrument called a “guitar,” which i understand compels certain high-strung women to scream like the French did during the Nazi occupation. The only songs we heard then were the sobs of widows and the roar of tank engines. steve earle doesn’t sound anything like that. where’s the pudding? I love this as a concept.  Maybe this could be your new blog/book deal...
